A. The South Florida Music Showcase is a live music networking event designed with the sole purpose of connecting independent artists with entertainment industry professionals. Since the inception of the SFMS, some of our attendees have been A&R’s and label heads of major record labels such as Warner Music Group and Sony Music, as well as TV Talent Scouts, credited publishers, producers, songwriters, managers, attorneys, and etc…

A. Ticket prices are varied.

Q. How old do you have to be to enter the venue?

A. All attendees must be 21 and over with proof of ID.

Q. How can I perform at the SFMS?

A. You must register and create an account with us – Then submit your music and photos.

Q. How old do I have to be to perform?

A. 21 and over

Q. What type of music genres could I submit?

A. We accept all genres. A song is either good or bad.

Q. How does the SFMS choose their performers?

A. Each artist that registers to perform is professionally critiqued and chosen by audio engineers, songwriters, musicians, and marketing gurus. Also, each artist is critiqued on their professionalism.

Q. If I submit my music and don’t get chosen to perform, what does that mean?

A. It means your music is garbage and you should quit immediately and apply to be a Librarian on Jupiter! Ha! It could mean a number of things, but most importantly, it means there are areas of improvements that aren’t on the same level as the artists who were chosen. A recommendation would be to study the artists that were chosen and take a look at their overall presentation including image and song production. Attend the showcase and network with the performing artists and take what you could learn from them because you never know when your time has come! Remember, greatness takes time!

A. Credited producers, songwriters, major label heads, A&R executives, TV talent scouts, music publishers, music supervisors, movie directors, screenplay writers, audio engineers, DJs, and etc …
